I provide individual and family therapy, and specialize in working with adults and older adults.  The symptoms/ problems I often address include:

Behavioral Interventions

I treat problematic behaviors and emotional states that can arise as a result of dementia or other cognitive dysfunction.  This includes an assessment of why the behavior(s) are occurring, and a corresponding plan for addressing them.  Problematic behaviors I address include:

  • Wandering or falls risk

  • Combative/aggressive behaviors
  • Inappropriate sexual behaviors

  • Anxiety or agitation

  • Frequent calling out

  • Paranoia

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Frustration/confusion

Staff Training and Development
